Purposeful Exploration

-Project-Photo shoot One
-Theme-Digital Photograph/14 categories
-Hardest category to shoot was? Because? Hardest category to shoot was definitely the silhouette and the reflection pictures, I couldn't get the silhouette to turn out because the sun and myself were never at the right angles. I couldn't think of a reflection photo to do besides a mirror picture which isn't very interesting or original.
-Favorite photo turned out to be..because? My favorite photo turned out to be the 'fill the frame' photo I took of my sister (pictured below) I think it captures a lot of detail.
-Project-Photo Layering
-Artists I found that do double exposures

-Online Definition of DOF- The distance between the nearest and the furthest objects that give an image judged to be in focus in a camera
-DOF in my own words is- Focus on an object in a picture while he background is blurry
-Shallow Depth of field simply means that one specific area of your photo is tack sharp while other elements remain blurred
-Deep Depth of field will keep everything in focus, including objects or people close to you, and everything in the background.

Here is an example of Shallow DOF

Here are images that inspire me
This image inspires me because the picture focuses on both the flowers and house behind, it shows detail of both and I think it's an overall great shot.

This picture inspires me because the the green light bulb is focuses and the rest of he colored light bulbs get blurrier and blurrier. It's an interesting picture to look at.

Shutter Speed
-How does the shutter on a camera work? It is like an eye ball. The longer the shutter is open he more it captures.

-Find a Photographer that experiments with shutter speed. Michael Bosanko. Do they use a fast shutter speed or slow? Slow. Why are you attracted to their work? He takes very interesting photos.

Story Board
I'm not completely sure what I want to do for my story board.  I know I want to keep it simple and I want it to be different. I had the idea of having two people getting into a fake fight and yelling at each other and then lead to slapping the other one or punching.

My idea for levitation is to take a picture of my sister in a dress by the forest. Here are some photos that inspire me:
